Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SiliconForge collects, why, and what you can do about it. SiliconForge is run by ANMOL GOMRA, which is responsible for your data.

What we collect

  • Account: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash), and whether your email is verified.
  • Sessions and security: a sign-in cookie, and the IP address and browser type of each session, used to keep accounts secure and limit abuse.
  • Your work: the projects you create or upload (files, goals, history), tool runs and their logs, waveforms and layouts, Engineer conversations, and images or PDFs you attach for the Architect.
  • Usage: what AI features you used and how many tokens each used, builds you started, and your plan, to run trial limits and control costs.
  • Waitlist: the email address and interest you enter, if you join the Pro waitlist.
  • Feedback: messages you send with Send feedback, with the page you were on and the open project, so we can find and fix the problem.

How we use it

To provide the service: run your designs through the design tools, answer your AI requests, save your work, send account emails (verification and password reset), enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and fix problems. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

AI processing

When you use the Architect, the Engineer, reviews, or AI repairs, the relevant project content and your messages are sent to OpenAI to produce an answer. Requests carry a one-way hashed account identifier, not your name or email. We ask OpenAI not to store responses; OpenAI may keep request data for a limited time for abuse monitoring under its API data policies, and does not use API data to train its models unless we opt in, which we have not.

Who else processes it

  • OpenAI, for AI features.
  • Our hosting provider and file-storage provider, which store the service and your data.
  • Our email delivery provider, which sends account emails.

They act on our instructions and only for these purposes. We disclose data to others only when the law requires it.

What is public

Your projects are private to your account. Example projects shown on /examples are designs we chose to publish; copying an example creates a private project of yours.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also stores a few preferences and your unsent Architect conversation on your device. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and projects until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Deleting a project removes its files, runs, and history. Database backups are kept for up to 30 days and then overwritten. Usage records are kept while your account exists, so plan limits and costs stay correct.

Your choices and rights

You can view, edit, download, and delete your projects at any time. To get a copy of your account data, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it, email gomraanmol@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may also object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data protection authority. We answer requests within 30 days.

Security

Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed, design tools run in isolated containers without network access, and access to your projects is checked on every request. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at gomraanmol@gmail.com if you find a problem.

Children

SiliconForge is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

SiliconForge is in early access and this policy may change as it grows. We will update the date above, and tell signed-in users about significant changes.
